Tricina Edwards is a lifelong resident of San BernardinoCounty and member of Greater Works Praise andWorship Centre. She has worked for San BernardinoCounty since 2006. She started at San BernardinoCounty Sheriff’s Department where she worked as anurse for 12 years before moving to her current positionas Nurse Manager for San Bernardino CountyDepartment of Behavioral Health. She continued her education through the years withAssociate degrees in Religion, Liberal Arts, and Nursing. She completed her bachelor’sdegree in Nursing in 2018 and received a Public Health Nurse certification. She iscurrently finishing up her Master’s in Business Administration with a focus in HealthcareManagement. Working in the medical field since 2003, Tricina has been working toimprove access to healthcare (including mental health needs), bridging the gaps ofcommunication amongst care providers, and promoting increased cultural diversity inleadership positions throughout the county. She is currently a member of the AmericanCollege of Healthcare Executives, Chair member for the Behavioral Health DepartmentDiversity Committee, member of San Bernardino County Association of AfricanAmerican Employees. Her passion is to serve the underserved, give to those in need,and to encourage those that are discouraged.
