An influential business man with great faith, vision, and purpose. His professional career spans over two decades in the financial service industry. Currently he is employed with Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation VSEDC, as Director of the Community Development Financial Institution CDFI; where he is responsible for implementing lending strategies and responsible growth for community business owners and real estate developers.
He holds FINRA Series 6/63 licenses; Real Estate Broker license; California Insurance Life, Health and Disability license. He received the distinguished certification of the GE Six Sigma Black Belt in Quality Initiatives. Richard is very active in the business community and is a sought-after speaker for many business events, including those hosted by the City of L.A. Mayor’s office and USC Civic Engagement Dept where he conducts Access to Capital trainings to Contractors and Small businesses. His passion is to serve businesses and families on how to execute and create a legacy of generational wealth and income.
